About the Role
Are you ready to take on the challenges of international taxation in a dynamic and rapidly expanding company? At Moove, we're entering an exciting phase of growth and delivery, and we’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Director to help us navigate the complexities of tax across multiple jurisdictions. This is not just a role where you'll oversee processes from a distance—this is a hands-on opportunity to roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, and make a tangible impact on our global operations.
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice on our operations across multiple jurisdictions. You'll play a key role in guiding our business through new markets, ensuring our tax structures are not only compliant but optimised for growth. Working closely with our Controller, you'll be a critical part of our finance team, helping to shape the tax strategies that will support our long-term ambitions.
Your expertise will be crucial in compiling and submitting tax returns, advising on the tax implications of new business models, and structuring our multi-entity group to achieve optimal tax efficiency. This role demands someone with deep experience in multi-market and multi-currency environments, who thrives in a dynamic setting.
What You’ll be Doing
Expert tax advisory: Provide actionable tax advice on existing operations, new products, and new ventures across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.
New market expansion: Guide the company on tax considerations when entering new markets, advising on the best approaches to minimise risk and optimise tax outcomes.
Tax compliance: Manage the compilation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all filings across our operating jurisdictions.
Group tax optimization: Design and implement an optimal tax structure for our multi-entity, multi-market group, aligning with our strategic goals.
Collaboration with controller: Work closely with the Controller to align tax strategies with broader financial goals, providing insights that influence our financial planning and operations.
What You will need for this position
Audit collaboration: Experience working closely with auditors, ensuring alignment and compliance in all tax-related matters.
Multi-market expertise: Extensive experience managing tax in a multi-market, multi-currency environment, with a deep understanding of the complexities involved.
Group structure knowledge: In-depth experience with multi-entity group structures, including designing and implementing optimal tax strategies.
Attention to detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to dive deep into tax issues and deliver precise, actionable advice.
Resilience and work ethic: Strong work ethic, with a willingness to immerse yourself in the details and tackle challenges head-on in a fast-paced environment.
Who You'll Be Working with:
Directly reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, and closely working with our Finance Team.
