About the Role
As an Accountant at Moove Mexico, you will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, and contributing to efficient financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure transparency and control in financial reporting and day-to-day transactions.
This role requires strong attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, and a proactive attitude. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment and communicating in English with global stakeholders.
What You’ll be Doing
Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions.
- Post journal entries and ensure reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare documentation for audits and coordinate with external autiros (local an global).
Tax Regulatory Compliance
- Support monthly and annual tax filings (ISR, IVA, DIOT, etc.)
- Ensure correct and timely SAT submissions and reconciliations.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and ensure regulatory adherence.
Banking and Treasury Support
- Assist in bank reconciliations and cash movement tracking.
- Prepare documentation for payment processing and ensure that adequate supporting records are maintained.
Operational Support
- Provide support to internal departments regarding financial queries.
- Help implement internal controls and recommend improvements in financial processes.
What You will need for this position
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax compliance and financial regulations.
- Experience using ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Language Requirement: Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, as this role involves regular communication with global stakeholders and compliance with international reporting standards.
- Experience in multinational companies, fintechs, or auditing firms is a strong plus.

- On-time submission of tax and compliance filings.
- Zero audit findings in the scope of responsibilities.
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Payment processing accuracy and SLA adherence.
