About the Role
Moove is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support employee technology, administer IT systems, and build automation across our growing business.
Reporting directly to the Network and IT lead, you will help employees get the hardware, accounts, and support they need to work effectively. Your responsibilities will span device procurement and deployment, onboarding and offboarding, identity and access administration, application integrations, and daily troubleshooting.
Automation is a core part of this role. You will identify repetitive work and build reliable scripts and integrations that improve service, reduce manual effort, and support expansion into new markets. We need someone who can resolve an employee’s immediate problem and then improve the process behind it.
This is a hands-on role based at our Phoenix office, supporting employees across multiple locations and time zones. Hardware procurement, configuration, shipping, recovery, and inventory management are significant responsibilities alongside systems administration and automation.
What You’ll Be Doing
IT operations
Resolve employee IT issues involving macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, mobile devices, business applications, and connectivity.
Troubleshoot account lockouts, password resets, MFA issues, and application access problems.
Manage assigned IT tickets, communicate progress clearly, and escalate issues when needed.
Identify recurring problems and improve documentation, processes, or automation to prevent them.
Participate in scheduled after-hours or on-call coverage for urgent issues, with coverage arrangements defined by the Network and IT lead.
Hardware
Procure laptops, Chromebooks, phones, peripherals, and related equipment within approved budgets and purchasing procedures.
Coordinate vendor quotes, orders, delivery, warranties, repairs, and replacements.
Configure and enroll devices in endpoint management, apply company standards, and arrange delivery to employees.
Coordinate local purchasing and deployment for international employees and new market launches.
Recover, securely wipe, redeploy, and decommission devices through documented procedures.
Maintain accurate records of device serial numbers, assignments, locations, purchase details, warranties, and lifecycle status.
Assist with site setup and basic network and Wi-Fi testing under the direction of the Network and IT team.
Employee Lifecycle
Administer users, groups, and permissions in JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian/Jira, and other approved business applications.
Coordinate onboarding with People and hiring managers so employees have working devices and appropriate access on day one.
Execute offboarding at the approved time, including account suspension, access and session revocation, device recovery, and data transfer or retention.
Apply role-based access standards and support periodic access reviews.
Maintain MFA, endpoint compliance, and other established security controls.
Track software licenses and reclaim or reassign them when appropriate.
Automation and application integrations
Build and maintain scripts and API integrations for onboarding, offboarding, access administration, inventory, and recurring reports.
Configure application SSO through JumpCloud and implement provisioning and deprovisioning where supported.
Integrate approved employee lifecycle information from Deel with identity systems and Jira workflows, following agreed access and approval rules.
Maintain reporting tools, including organizational charts and onboarding summaries, as systems and APIs change.
Build logging, failure alerts, validation, and recovery procedures into automation.
Store integration credentials securely and maintain service accounts independently of employee accounts.
Document scripts, dependencies, runbooks, and changes so other IT staff can support them.
Test changes before deployment and coordinate changes that could affect employee access or business operations.
What You’ll Need
At least three years of experience in IT systems administration, IT operations, or a closely related role.
Hands-on experience supporting employees and administering end-user devices.
Experience procuring, configuring, enrolling, deploying, recovering, and tracking hardware.
Experience administering an identity platform such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining IT automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable language.
Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, logging, and error handling.
Experience supporting macOS and Windows, with familiarity supporting ChromeOS and mobile devices.
Understanding of SSO, MFA, role-based access, and employee onboarding and offboarding.
Clear communication, strong documentation habits, and the ability to prioritize competing support and project needs.
Ability to work on-site in Phoenix and support occasional scheduled after-hours work.
Nice to Have
Experience with JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Asana, or Deel.
Experience with endpoint management platforms such as JumpCloud MDM, Jamf, or Intune.
Experience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations.
Experience supporting employees across multiple countries and time zones.
Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and automated device enrollment.
Basic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience in a growing company where processes and systems are still being established.
Relevant IT, identity, endpoint management, or security certifications.
