About the Role
As Vehicle Readiness Operator, you are accountable for the physical readiness of our fleet. Every vehicle that goes out on the road after you have inspected it and given your green signal. You are the operational backbone of our autonomous fleet, and the standard you hold determines the standard the entire operation delivers.
You will work across rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment, covering everything from vehicle launch support and repositioning to, charging, and compliance reporting. You will follow established SOPs, maintain the standards the operation depends on, and flag anything that does not meet them.
What You’ll be Doing
Vehicle Readiness and Launch Support
Inspect all vehicles entering the depot and assign the right action accordingly.
Ensure every vehicle meets launch-ready standards before each shift, completing all required checks and sign-offs
Support AV troubleshooting during vehicle launch, software updates, and readiness checks
Learn and utilise the operational systems used to monitor vehicle states, log tasks, and communicate updates across the team
Fleet Operations and Logistics
Arrange, manoeuvre, and transit vehicles as required, including charger setup and charging cycle management
Respond to operational requirements as they arise across your shift, prioritising safety and fleet availability at all times
Maintaining the data of the vehicle lifecycle.
Standards, Cleanliness, and Compliance
Maintain vehicle presentation and depot cleanliness in line with Moove AV, UAE standards across all shifts and conditions
Complete daily reports, checklists, and documentation accurately and on time in line with safety and operational requirements
Uphold safety standards in every task and escalate anything that does not meet them
Shift and Team Contribution
Work a rotating shift schedule covering morning, evening, and overnight windows, 6 days on and 1 day off
Contribute to overall shift efficiency and operational throughput by following SOPs consistently and supporting your team
Adapt to schedule changes based on operational needs and maintain the same standard regardless of shift or conditions
What You will need for this position
Valid UAE driving licence at least 1 year old
Technically comfortable with modern apps, digital systems, and communication platforms
Able to respond quickly and calmly in changing, high-pressure, or fast-paced situations
Strong time management and reliability
Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods across varying indoor and outdoor conditions
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluent in English
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior Autonomous vehicle experience is an advantage.

Directly reporting to our Fleet Operations Manager, and closely working with our Fleet Operations Team.
