About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, Finance & Accounts at Moove.io, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and supporting business finance activities within a mobility asset finance environment. The role requires strong expertise in NBFC/ asset financing, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.
What You’ll be Doing
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
•Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
•Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (INDAS)
•Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
•Oversee vendor payments, invoicing, and collections tracking
•Monitor receivables related to financed mobility assets (leases/ loans)
•Ensure timely settlements and resolve discrepancies
3. Compliance & Regulatory
•Ensure adherence to RBI/ NBFC regulations and statutory requirements
•Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and audits
•Coordinate with internal and external auditors
4. Budgeting & Financial Planning
•Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting exercises
•Track actuals vs budget and provide variance analysis
•Support business teams with financial insights
5. Asset & Portfolio Accounting
•Handle accounting for financed assets (vehicles, fleets, etc.)
•Track asset depreciation, impairments, and portfolio performance
•Work closely with operations on asset lifecycle management
6. Process Improvement & Controls
•Strengthen internal controls and financial processes
•Identify automation opportunities and improve efficiency
•Ensure proper documentation and audit trails
What You will need for this position
•CA/ CMA/ MBA (Finance)/ B. Com (with strong experience)
•6-8 years of experience in finance & accounts
•Preferably from NBFC, banking, leasing, or mobility industry
•Strong knowledge of IND AS, taxation, and financial reporting
•Experience in asset finance, vehicle leasing or fleet financing will be an advantage
•Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)
•Analytical mindset with attention to detail
•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
•Ability to work in fast- paced, high growth environment
•Exposure to audits and regulatory inspections
