This individual will be the primary point of contact responsible for building, improving, and orchestrating our fleet health programs across three main areas - asset uptime, cost efficiency, and safety. You will collaborate closely with local General Managers, AV Operations Managers (AVOMs), and customer partners to ensure that every vehicle in our fleet is operating at the highest level of readiness and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multi-market FD&R operations, working with local GMs and AVOMs to maximize fleet uptime and overall health.
Design and implement overall fleet health and asset management strategy, including service delivery model, partnership approach, and capability investments
Determine optimal approach to balance fleet uptime with cost efficiency when determining how best to deliver services including collision repair, warranty work, and basic maintenance
Own end-to-end setup and ramp-up of FD&R operations in new markets, ensuring operational readiness from day one.
Partner with regional AVOMs to improve workflows, standardize processes, and scale best practices across markets.
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customer partners, collaborating closely to orchestrate FD&R operations and align on fleet performance targets.
Build and manage internal FD&R teams — including technicians, diagnostics specialists, and support staff — to support current and future market needs.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that enhance fleet capability recovery times, SOP adherence, and overall readiness.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in fleet management, automotive services, fleet service operations, or a related field
Demonstrated leadership experience in implementing, launching, and managing multi-market fleet maintenance and health
Proven track record of scaling operational teams or launching new sites/markets
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Experience working with external partners or customers in a service delivery context is a plus
Applicants must be authorized to work and reside in the United States.
Key Metrics
Time to operational readiness in new markets, measured by the number of days from launch kickoff to full FD&R operational capability.
Fleet online supply percentage per market, reflecting the proportion of vehicles available and ready for service at any given time.
Adherence to standard operating procedures from both a documentation and safety perspective, ensuring consistent process execution and regulatory compliance.
Vehicle recovery times, capturing the average duration required to return vehicles from offline status to operational readiness.
Cost efficiency, including average spend per vehicle per month and unit performance metrics
