About the Role
Responsible for ensuring vehicle compliance and insurance requirements are in place per local market in order to keep Moove vehicles moving safely.
What You’ll be Doing
Main duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following;
Claims, Insurance & Risk
- Assist in managing insurance claims and accident reporting processes and ensure all is captured in the BYNX system.
- Analyse risks associated with fleet insurance policies and provide recommendations.
- Support the implementation of insurance, quality and compliance procedures.
- Manage accident-related cost recoveries, including initiating and tracking chargebacks to partners in line with internal policies.
- Monitor and control claim-related expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and accountability.
- Track all VOR claims to ensure vehicles are repaired within Supplier SLA agreed timelines.
Compliance & Safety
- Conduct regular inspections to detect issues across facilities and the vehicle fleet.
- Ensure full adherence to health and safety guidelines and relevant legal obligations.
- Monitor that all department staff comply with company safety and operational policies.
Quality Control & Process Improvement
- Inspect final vehicle output and compare specifications against set standards.
- Keep accurate records and perform data/statistical analysis for operational reporting.
- Solicit customer feedback to evaluate satisfaction and identify improvement areas.
- Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to the development of improved procedures.
Fleet Rollout & Operations
- Track rollout progress of fleet vehicles in the market (telematics installation, swag distribution, vehicle readiness).
- Ensure all vehicle and system records are accurately updated across internal and external platforms (e.g., VMS, Uber).
- Coordinate communication across teams and managers regarding rollout statuses.
Administrative & System Tasks
- Ensure 100% BYNX utilization.
- Ensure vehicles are assigned and unassigned on Co-Pilot in relation with the repair requirements to ensure we are billing our clients correctly.
- Ensure all vehicle permits are issued and renewed in accordance with market requirements.
- Assign regulatory and traffic infringements to drivers and oversee deductions where necessary.
- Monitor and follow up on vehicle repairs in line with OEM and company standards.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly management reports and dashboards.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Assist with investigations, audits, and special assignments as directed by Management.
- Support the broader operations team with flexible, service-oriented, and proactive engagement.
What You will need for this position
- Matric or equivalent (Post-matric qualification in logistics, transport, or risk management an advantage).
- 2–3 years of experience in fleet management, claims administration, or operational support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Knowledge of OEM standards, telematics systems, and fleet-related regulations is an advantage.
- Service-oriented with a positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.

- Vehicle in NPA state during accidents
- TAT for vehicle servicing
- Tracking vehicle ageing and service history
- Finding OES parts solutions in case of parts shortage
