About the Role
As a Calibration Associate, you will be responsible for the calibration and validation of sensors and systems that ensure our vehicles operate safely and efficiently in diverse environments. You will work closely with partner teams and the RHO team to support the integration of advanced sensor technologies
What you’ll be doing
Conduct calibration procedures for various sensors, including LiDAR, cameras, radar, and IMUs, ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with partner teams to define calibration requirements and methodologies for new sensor integrations.
Analyze calibration data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Perform regular maintenance and calibration checks on testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Assist in the development of automated calibration processes to enhance efficiency and precision.
Document calibration procedures and results, maintaining accurate records in compliance with industry and partner standards.
Participate in field testing and data collection to validate sensor performance in real-world scenarios.
Support troubleshooting efforts for calibration-related issues in the development and testing phases.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in sensor technology and calibration techniques.
What you will need for this position
Experience with calibration processes and tools, preferably in the automotive or robotics industries.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with vehicle dynamics and control systems.
Knowledge of machine learning and its applications in autonomous driving.
Understanding of regulatory standards and safety requirements for autonomous vehicles.
Commitment to continuous development and proficiency
Ability to work on shift rotation
Right to work in the US
